12:35a Every Weeping Cock Has Its Day
MY POST IS NSFW.
But first, a Word Count update! \o/

And now, because you've all been indulging me lately, a tasty snippet.
"Malfoy…Draco? Your cock it's…" Harry smirked, swiping his thumb over the wet head. Malfoy's hips jerked beneath him. "It's crying. It's crying tears of sperm."
A pillow smacked him in the face, and Harry fell over laughing.
"I abhor you, Potter," Malfoy grunted into the mattress.
Harry only laughed harder.
Now, to cut this or not to cut this. That is the question.

8:46p Happy, Smiley Poems
My toes are partially numb but I am in a ridiculously happy mood. Why? I went to see Poe Evermore at the PA Ren. Faire tonight.
I spent a half an hour silently shipping Irving/Longfellow. Longfellow blew a cork into Irving's ear. Mary Shelly had a mental fit. And Poe cracked jokes about his own stories, and gave us the run down of Pit and the Pendulum and The Fall of the House of Usher in under a minute.
He also insisted The Stylus would only involve happy, smiley poems.
Yeah. Yeah, it just was that kind of show.

12:35p R.A.D and Tom Riddle
I don't often think meta thoughts on HP, but when I do they tend to not leave me alone until I share them. Funnily enough, this thought dawned on me as I was showering today. I'm also just as certain someone else thought of this long before I even knew what it was, but Tom Riddle has classic R.A.D. And it has flipped my view of him as a character upside down.
For those who don't know, R.A.D is Reactive Attachment Disorder and it is a diagnosable syndrome. R.A.D is often mistaken for ADHD or even ODD, but it differs in the fact that its onset is during infancy to year two. R.A.D is caused by a number of different things including lack of affection, touch, eye contact during infancy.
Is it hard to imagine that in a run down orphanage Tom was not held enough as a baby, or even touched enough. Remember all those incidents that Mrs. Cole said were strange and how no one wanted to really be near him?
Here is just a small list of noticeable traits children with R.A.D have: 1. Weak Crying 2. Extreme resistance to cuddling 3. No reciprocal smiles 4. Superficially engaging or charming 5. A strong need for control 6. Indiscriminately affectionate 7. Destruction of self, other people, or objects 8. Cruel to animals, friends, or siblings 9. Poor peer relations 10. Demanding 11. Steals and lies 12. No conscience 13. Poor impulse control 14. Preoccupation with blood, gore, other nasty things 15. Abnormal speech
As I said, I'm sure plenty of people have already thought of this, but it was pretty illuminating to me.
Thoughts?

Because I told eeyore9990 two days ago? yesterday? that I'd spam the heck out of my flist with word count updates, you all get to be subjected to a lovely screencap of my comp screen as visual proof!
*mad cackling*
I've changed my mind about updating every 100 words. Instead, you're getting this every 1000 words. Since I was still at 6000 words yesterday, I haven't had the opportunity to update until now.
Behold!
( WILL YOU LOOK AT THIS? )

11:13a Today's #1 Goal
I have a goal today. It is a fantastic goal. So fantastic, I'm using an icon of the Doctor to cement this occasion. That goal is to finish my hd_career_fair fic.
Exciting, isn't it?
Current Word Count: 6,106 Final Word Goal: Just shy of 10,000
The end is coming! I can feel it! It is right there.
When it arrives would anyone be willing to beta read it? *G*

10:10p Numbered Posts Might Be Easier to Title...Just Saying
Remember that post I made last night? About getting more sleep? Day 1 = epic failure. /o\ Four hours of sleep to be had last night.
I spent the entire night making note cards for today's Sociology test that I hardly glanced at today. Which isn't to say I didn't look at them at all, I did, only to discover I didn't know half of the 80 terms I needed to know, not to mention the extra concepts on the backside of the study guide. I'm not at all anywhere near as certain about how I did on this test as I have been on others this semester.
Yeah.
Writing Update: NaNoWriMo = 1728 words Career Fair Fic = 6052 words Sir Leon/Arthur Fic = 1831
Words written today = 105

1:38a When Weekdays Look Better than the Weekend...
You know something is wrong. Am I right?
I'm so physically drained and sore right now. The worst part is I'm not ill, only tired and burned out.
I spent Thursday night into Friday stressing about the PowerPoint presentation I had to cobble together for formal acceptance into the education program and the rest of the weekend just fell in line with that.
Friday: &hearts turned in Powerpoint and all documents involved there. &hearts forgot I had offered to sub a shift at the Blue Bean, wound up 30 mins late for a three hour shift. Discovered the dishwasher was busted. &hearts had to individually hand wash everything, without gloves, missed dinner &hearts still had to go in for night shift, dishwasher still busted, there a half-hour longer than normal
Saturday: &hearts spent too many hours night before on phone with boy &hearts woke up around 11, didn't eat breakfast before meeting carpool at 2 to go to Camp Curtin &hearts six hours spent volunteering at Camp Curtin Light's on fair without any food! \o/ &hearts the school bought us Wendy's. I &hearts my school. &hearts stayed up too late again texting boy, started NaNo novel, watched Merlin, started Sir Leon/Arthur fic (total word count between NaNo and Leon/Arthur fic? 3000)
Sunday: &hearts woke up in pain, muscles sore on both sides of my bum, stretched too much trying to collect pennies from the penny toss day before &hearts arrived 5 mins too late at meeting point to go to the PSEA fall conference, ride had already left. WTFEVER. &hearts took a nap A+ &hearts procrastinated by listening to a lecture on procrastination &hearts worked again at Blue Bean. Dishwasher? Still broken.
In conclusion?
faynia needs to practice better bedtime skills or she will get ill.
To-do: 1. Reach 3340 words in NaNo 2. Finish hd_career_fair fic. Yeah, you read that right. 3. Finish Sir Leon/Arthur fic 4. Study for Sociology Exam on Tuesday 5. SLEEP??!??!

1:23a Widget Wonder!
1761 / 50000 words. 4% done!
Daily word count met and passed. Clocks turn back in less than an hour which leaves me an extra hour of sleep. \o/
My crossdressing farm boy/girl's name is Kaylan. He/she is not so pleased to make your acquaintance. He/She is reading like a bizarre bastardized version of Arthur. IDEK.
